"Oh god! "

I managed to see two great movies this weekend....and some boobies...but more importantly, two great movies.
 
Hey spoliers.
 
The first of the two, Spider-Man 3.
 
The movie was really really good. Not quite as good as number 2, which I think is because of Doc Ock, but better than 1.
 
Everything about the movie was great except for Venom. Venom really fucking killed it for me. No masking of voice, the CGI mouth was terrible and he just wasn't in it long enough. Although, the end battle with him was pretty sweet, especially seeing Eddie Brock's skeleton shadow due to a pumpkin bomb.
 
The whole dancing down the street and jazz club was probably my favorite part. It was funny and totally Sam Raimi. 'Double Time!' The part where Parker took off his jacket and Gwen's hair flew back in a gust of wind was easily one of my favorite parts. It was great.
 
Sandman was incredible. The part where he was trying to put himself back together was a great scene. Everything was perfect at that part. I thought Church's acting was a little....bad....but I guess that's Sandman?
 
I don't know what else to say. The movie was easily the most Raimi out of the 3 and it was probably the best superhero movie to date. And by that I mean, it was easily the best from a comic point of view and not an adaptation. Like it was ripped from the panels. My favorite comic book movie, Batman Begins, of course.
 
Man, I'm tired.
 
I also saw Hot Fuzz. Everything about that movie was fucking great. That's all I need to say about that.

"Three important announcements!"

1. If you haven't noticed, there are two comics instead of one today. That's because I'll be out of town this Thursday and cannot attend to the site. This means, no comic this Thursday. In order to help alleviate your grief some mooore, here is a silly alternate to the second comic.

2. As of May 4th, our illustrator, Chris, has opted to no longer work on the project with us.
BUT FRET NOT! I will be taking over these comic drawing duties, and my friends, you will not be dissapointed. You will bear witness to my comics as soon as next Tuesday as you can see from the "coming soon" box, be not afraid.
